Donald Kohn is the vice chair of the Federal Reserve, right beneath Bernanke. But is he really the Bernanke to Bernanke, the way Bernanke was the Bernanke To Greenspan? After all, you certainly hear a lot from that Mishkin fellow -- who, it should be said, really has that economist look down pat.

I used to *ahem* partake in tree burning *ahem* with Mishkin's kid. It wasn't until the son's graduation--and lunch with Senor Mishkin--that I learned he was an economic idiot savant.
