It's fairly amusing that Gawker actually has a category called Things We Actually Like, with reference on the "actually", of course. The presumption, of course, is that the Gawkerites typically find so much in the world to be utterly despicable. What I can't tell is whether this is self-awareness or self-parody.

Meanwhile, Felix Salmon has done another good job of analyzing the pay at Gawker, via publicly info on pageviews. For such a highly discussed topic, few others seem to have gone through the legwork to figure it out.
