PageSix.com, A Subprime Casualty

Frankly I find it very hard to believe that the closure of PageSix.com, the gossip site from the NYP is directly due to the punk economy. But that's what they're claiming. Or maybe the online gossip space is really crowded, and even the venerable Page Six is not the category killer it used to be.

Of course, the guy who used to be PageSixSixSix is going strong, as far as I know.
