Just kidding. I have no idea what the end of Web 2.0 means or what it looks like. But I figure that this meme is bound to start, so I want to be the first to put it on record.
Also: I think we should maybe make a distinction between Web 2.0 and Web II. Web 2.0, as I understand it, has something to do with various (aging) buzzwords like social, ajax, feeds, open, etc. The point is that it's about technology, or about web usage. On the other hand, it would be useful to start talking about Web II, as basically a chapter. You could say -- crudely -- that Web I lasted between the IPO of TheGlobe.com and the pricking of the tech bubble (perhaps when eToys.com went out of business). That has nothing to do with technology. It's just a time frame. And then you could argue that Web II started at some point post-burst (hard to say what the pivotal event was, though you never can), and ended today, with Microsoft's bid for Yahoo. Maybe.
