Corrected: Trade Of The Day

Just a hunch: On Intrade, Mitt Romney-to-win-the-Repub-nomination futures trading at $.10 on the dollar are a good deal and John McCain trading over $.50  is probably a bad value. I'd short McCain and long Romney right now. Let's see how I do.

Correction: In the comments, Tim Lee correctly points out that I was looking at the wrong contract. Guess you shouldn't take trading advice from me. Romney is actually trading at like $.34 on the dollar, which sounds about right. I still think that he and McCain should be closer to even with each other, but, this is better.

I think you're misreading something. Romney's at $.30 on the dollar. But yeah, on my "play money" intrade account, I have a small position in McCain and a large position in Romney. I've also got some Huckabee because I think his chances are better than 3%.

The fact that Rudy and Ron Paul aren't higher than 0 is the real head-scratcher.
