The Stalwart will be in Vegas this weekend, and if any readers have any suggestions about what to do while there, it would be much appreciated. I've never actually been there before, so this trip is long overdue.
In particular, I'd love some suggestions about which poker tournaments I should play while there and which poker rooms are the softest. Restaurant recommendations are, of course, always welcome as well. Leave comments here or email me at the address on the side.
I have no gambling recommendations. Restaurants, however, I can tell you about!
A few of my favorites include Cafe Babareba in the the Fashion Show Mall (save room for an order of bacon wrapped dates), the Grand Lux in the Venetian (mmAsianNachos), Kona Grill at Charleston and Rampart, Osaka on W. Lake Mead, Marc's at Lake Mead and Buffalo, Sushi-Ko at Craig and 95, and for traditional breakfasty/lunchy kind of food, The Cracked Egg on Cheyenne at Buffalo.
Why yes, I live in the Northwest quadrant of town, can you tell? Seriously, Vegas is one of the top ten food destinations in the world right now. You could eat out every day and not repeat a restaurant for years, and 9 times out of ten have a great meal.
