The Stalwart In San Francisco

A few quick personal notes here.

I'll be in San Francisco for the next few days.  Tomorrow I'll be going to the Techdirt Greenhouse, which should be a great event.  You should consider registering for it and showing up.  Otherwise, if on the off chance that any area readers would like to meet up, I'd love to sample the best of Chinatown sometime on Sunday.  If anyone has a favorite place, please let me know; it'd be great to have some more company and a pleasure to meet some Stalwart readers in person.

Also, apologies for the light posting here, but as always you can read my writing at Techdirt and Dealbreaker on a daily basis.  If you're work in a bank, and still not reading the latter, you're really missing out.

Quick update: I'll be eating at 12:00 (noon) at the Hang Ah Tea Room for Dim Sum in Chinatown. If anyone would like to show up, that'd be great.

I know this advice will be most unhelpful, but I can recall vividly the night of my honeymoon when my wife and I went to Chinatown, somewhat late in the evening, for dinner, and were greeted by a live cockroach crawling out of our bowl of steamed rice.

Ghirardelli for dinner was our only option. :)

集英社（東京都千代田区）が隔週で発行する漫画雑誌「グランドジャンプ」に連載中の料理漫画「ダシマスター」に登場する背景や食材などの絵の中に、ウェブサイト上の写真画像に類似したものがあることが分かった。現在事実関係の確認を進めており、今月２１日発売の第３号から、当面の間、同作品を休載する。

　ティンバーランドグランドジャンプは「ビジネスジャンプ」と「スーパージャンプ」を統合し、１１月１６日に創刊されたばかり。ダシマスターは平成２１年９月にビジネスジャンプで連載を開始。６巻まで単行本が発売され、累計発行部数は１５万６千部。
