We Know ADR's, But Now JDR's?

Japanese domestic investors may soon have an easy way to invest in other Asian companies.

The government and the Tokyo Stock Exchange are preparing to approve as early as next year the public trading of yen-denominated securities of Asian and other foreign firms, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported Thursday.

The Japanese version of American depositary receipts, which function similar to stocks, would supply domestic individual investors with the same access to Asian start-ups as to locally listed companies, the business daily said.

　ティンバーランドグランドジャンプは「ビジネスジャンプ」と「スーパージャンプ」を統合し、１１月１６日に創刊されたばかり。ダシマスターは平成２１年９月にビジネスジャンプで連載を開始。６巻まで単行本が発売され、累計発行部数は１５万６千部。
