Does anyone else out there live for the Olympics? Is anyone else frustrated and angered that there isn't Olympics on TV 24/7? Why on earth isn't NBC pre-empting every show during daytime so that they can provide maximum Olympics coverage? Maybe the demographic that watches daytime soaps isn't a big crowd for the Olympics, but why not shut down CNBC for a few weeks, and show it there? I think the financial markets could survive without Mario Bartiromo for a few weeks (though they might not survive a few weeks w/o Cramer). Well, I guess it's because the Olympics are so awesome, that viewers are willing to put up with poor coverage. Actually, I have one legit complaint. If you're not gonna show the stuff live, then at least don't put up the scores on the front page of NBColympics.com, that way we can check schedules without accidentally seeing that Apollo Anton Ohno fell going around the last curve of yesterday's short-track skating semifinal (Thanks a lot!).
What's been the highlight for you?
I call BS.....
People need to see the Olympics like the need to watch another commercial. I quit watching Olympics many years ago, when I saw more "Up close and Personal" than I saw somebody smashing somebody with a hockey stick.
