In the real world if someone is expanding horizontally, they're getting fat.
In case you missed it, it's been a busy week for some major tech companies to get fatter and fatter, resembling each other more and more.
Microsoft, for example, launched Urge, their new subscription music service.
Not to be outdone in the yawn-inducing, "didn't see that coming from a mile away" category, Google is launching their own proprietary DRM for video. Thanks, just what we needed, more broken video links that require us to download browser plugins which never seem to be available.
Oh, and there was also a rumor floating around that Microsoft offered $80 billion to buy out Yahoo but was rebuffed.
Pray that these tears of boredom don't damage the keyboard on this laptop!
