Decline of a Great Nation

Headline: Arts complex envisioned for long-shuttered Bethlehem Steel plant.

That just about says it all, doesn't it?  We're not protectionists here, nor do we like to mythologize The Manufacturing Base, but we sure seem to have a lot of art and culture in this country, and a declining amount of salable products.  I wonder how much all these artists help mitigate our extaordinary trade-deficit.

On a personal note, I'm young, and there's no reason to be this curmudgeonly.
