NPR on Tagging

I've said it before, but I think that the search engines are vulnerable to the disruptive effects of "tagging" as practiced on websites like del.icio.us and Flickr.  Here's an NPR piece which suggests the same thing, and gives a nice NPR-ish overview of the tagging phenomenon.  For our West-coast readers, this is painfully old news to you; this is provided mainly for the benefit and education of our unhip New York and Midwest audiences.
